The origin of Superman in Man of Steel was primarily informed by the John Byrne reboot Man of Steel from the 1980s. By all intents and purposes, the origin of Batman in Dawn of Justice will similarly be primarily informed by the Frank Miller reboot Batman: Year One and/or The Dark Knight Returns from the 1980s. Dare we hope that Wonder Womans origin will similarly be informed by the George Perez reboot Gods and Mortals from the same era? I have my doubts about the assertion from a few weeks ago claiming that WW would be related to Zeus. That was hardly official, more like incidental and may have informed by the new 52 comics far more than the script. Until theres official word on that, I think anything is possible.
