The origin of the saying “People who live in glass houses should - TopicsExpress

The origin of the saying “People who live in glass houses should not throw stones” dates all the way back to the Bible. The scripture actually says” judge not that ye be not judged”. Because when you judge someone else you may eventually have the same problem. So the Judgement card in Tarot can signify that it might be time to look at our past deeds and rectify anything that hasn’t been handled well that might just turn up when you are least expecting it and bite you in the bum (or the wallet!). So just heed the warning. This card is No. 20 in the Major Arcana of the Tarot and so it’s almost the final card before you start a new cycle so you certainly don’t want to carry any extra baggage if you don’t need to. Judgement is a tarot “heavy” so take particular notice of it when it crops up in a reading and have a bit of a reflection on things that may have happened in the past going back years if you have to. Just think if there was something that you had “wished” had worked out better then Judgement is giving you a golden opportunity to re-write the ending in the way you wish it to be. On a literal level Judgement can also just be cautioning you to use wise judgement with regards to a situation. Don’t get swept away with excitement because something might be too good to be true. Great Tarot Card. Today’s picture speaks volumes I think.
