The other admin and other pages as well have been posting pictures about Shepards unwavering responsibility of feeding and taking care of his fish. I like to think that Shepard, as hard as he (yes, HE) tries, knows that there is a big chance he will not succeed in defeating the Reapers. So he is collecting and tending to the fish that in the extreme case that the war is lost, he can find a nice planet where the fish can live. Their genetic memory will store the past information about the war with the Reapers, and when they evolve, the warrior fish people will search out the Reapers and destroy every last one of them with their fishy biotic powers. That is all.
