The other day I knocked over a glass of wine and got a bit of wine in my laptop. I thought it was fine but the next day the thing was totally unresponsive. so i pack him up in the case with a bunch of uncooked rice and kosher salt... so today (sunday night) after dinner i decide its finally dry enough and open him up and take him all apart and clean off all the parts and put him back together... after a couple magic touches, it works again just like before. it even remembered everything from the last session. super excited. but... i did stay up all night and i totally didnt have to and it was kind of a dumb decision. but tbh it was nice to have some sort of productive and mind numbingly tedious task to do that would take my mind off the proverbial rocks in my shoes.
