The other day, I was with some friends, all ladies. As usual, we discussed fashion, movies, books, # BringBackOurGirls campaign and men. Yes, men! Our initially friendly discussion turned into a debate. Suddenly we were dividend into factions (not the kind of factions you see in PDP and APC). We simply couldn’t agree on some of the points we discussed. You know that kind of discussion where you are compelled to say “this is my personal opinion” or “I think.” Yeah, there were a lot of “my opinion” and “this is what I think.” So at the end of the day, what we succeeded in doing was tumultuous clash of opinions. Ladies, let me summarize for you our discussion in the way of questions. 1. At what point do you know for sure you are in love with a guy? 2. Is it wrong to accept a guy’s proposal for a relationship on the very first day? 3. What is that one thing (tangible or intangible) a guy must possess to qualify as your ‘kind of guy’? 4. Can you marry a guy who lives in a flat in his father’s house with his parents staying in the same building? 5. How comfortable would you be to work as a PA to your boyfriend or husband’s father? 6. Can you marry a man who dated your sister for two years but was dumped by your sister for no fault of his? 7. In this age and time, will you marry a man who has every quality you want in a man but the only change is that the man was ‘arranged’ by your mother? So ladies, I will love to hear from you. Guys, are free to answer too.
