The overnight rain has mostly cleared through, leaving a cloudy day for the most part, but it may break up this afternoon to give some brighter spells. Cloud base is forecast to sit at around 600ft through the day in our area, however it may break and lift this afternoon to 3000ft, we will have to wait and see. Westerly winds should be around 9kts, with gusts up 19kts possible this morning, and temperatures rise to 19ºc. Depending on how the cloud breaks, there may be a little spell of thermic activity in our area, but the best areas are to the west of the country, and the Top Meteo map is attached for best soaring areas. Are we flying today? If we do it will be this afternoon, we will have to see if the cloud lifts. Please ring if you are booked in.
