The overnight rain is out of here and we can only hope that it helped to extinguish the fires that have been happening the last few days. The ocean is 49 this am. The winds are from the NNW at 18 making it not any easy day for bay side anglers. We do know that there is a keeper bass swimming in the ocean. Yesterday on the incoming tide there was a 30+ inch bass caught on bunker in Holgate. The anglers son had a 16 incher caught on blood worms. Some anglers release their first keeper of the year and some release all their bass. This 30 incher was released to swim another day. As the winds switch to the west it will make for a nice day for fishing on the beach today plus give you a good cast. High tide is at 6:06 am and low is 12:26 pm on the ocean front today.
