The parents of Caliber Beta Academy gave me a warm welcome yesterday at their current campus. Caliber families have made their voices heard at recent school board meetings, concerned with WCCUSD providing them adequate facilities for the near and long term. School housing constraints in South Richmond present logistic and financial challenges to the district. Balancing needs requires running dialogue and solution centered thinking. Our new team on the Facilities Subcommittee, Trustees Madeline Kronenberg and Liz Block, will be driving solutions.
