The past 4 hours Ive been working on the Vacation BOM block. Flying geese are very new to me. So is cutting fabric like 2 7/8. So is using a pattern, for that matter. I worked very hard, very carefully measuring once, twice and more before cutting, and still things didnt quite add up at times. In the end, the block is supposed to be 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 ~ are you SURE Pat? Mine came out about 1 too small. Im pretty disappointed with that, but the block still looks nice. Oh, and I took the first photo (the one on the sewing machine) because it reminded me of a Klingon Bird of Prey warship. Couldnt help it! LOL! #PatSloan2015Mystery
