The past few weeks have been real tough on my family. Not too long ago we found out my Grandfather has Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Everyones been trying to keep their chins up high and their hopes up even higher. Sadly, one of the biggest parts that are holding us back is the financial aspects. As one can imagine treatment for Cancer isnt cheap, especially when insurance isnt helping out too much, and my Grandparents, to say the least, arent in the best situation financially. On top of that they live kinda far away in Las Vegas, which makes helping a little more difficult than it needs to be. But thats where you come in. We are graciously and humbly asking for help from everybody. Every dollar, cent, share, and prayer counts. Really anything and everything. The man means a lot to me, I really wouldnt be the person you know today if it wasnt for him. Hes instilled such a love for music not only into my life, but my whole familys life and I KNOW you know how much music means to me. He gave me my first records, taught me some of the very first songs I learned on guitar, and showed me the best band in music history (Hint: Its NOT The Stones). He also demonstrated to me that a pair of Chelsea Boots are just about the coolest fashion statement you could ever really have, if you pull it off right. And let me tell you, he pulled it off just right. One of my favorite stories to tell is that you wouldnt know who I am if it wasnt for Elvis. The man moved to the States to see The King. Unfortunately, Elvis passed a couple months later and he never got to see him, BUT if he never came to California my parents wouldve never met and I wouldnt have been born. Talk about dedication. Man and you guys thought I was CRAZY with following artists (well I am a bit nuts). But now you know it runs in the family! I could really go on and on with stories, ones all about The Beatles or how he used to drive ridiculously scary to get me to school on time in 5th grade, but Ill let you ask me about those in person. Theres really too many to tell and Im afraid Ive already written an essay. Anyway thanks for reading this, it really means a lot to me.
