The people most likely laughed and mocked at Noah for building an ark. They had not seen rain before. To them it sounded obsurd. Just kept living and doing what they pleased. Pleasing the wicked desires of the flesh. Provoking The Lord to great anger. And see when that day suddenly overtook them, it was too late. They had the chance. But they refused. See you hear Gods warnings and you say surely this will not happen. Who has seen such things? This man is delusional. Keep living your life and doing you. Peace, peace they cry. And sudden destruction will come. That which has been is that which shall be. That which has been done will be done. There is nothing new under the sun.
