The people of Ijebu Ode where i come from has a way of doing business which they call politics, this starts during the regime of OGD, when OGD came to power pronto all of them became members of PDP, you cannot hear any A,D slogan again in town except for late Dipo Dina and few loyalists of A.D, remains in the party, even the then party chairman left his post and joined the bandwagon of PDP loyalists if you ask them then they will tell you that OGD is the best man they never knew well and trust OGD like Osoba he knew what they need and he pumped it out for them, Osoba once said it that it pays to settle the ijebus with money than projects and he has given them money instead of water project we need then, back to what we are saying after the end of OGD regime where are my people now, APC of course most of the families in Ijebu Ode are now members of APC, all former members of PDP and even the political appointees of OGD are today in APC, no opposition in my town and those are the people who the young stars are looking up to, politics is biz in my town and her environs go to town and see the posters of APC on the streets, on okadas, public and private cars, the onijekuje politicians are not left out too, some are not like that anyway we still have some, standing out with dignity, am not saying people should not join APC no no no, but with pride and dignity you can join any party not AGIP system of politics, we know them very well we dont take them serious again, when some are opting out of the PDP they blame it on my friend Giwa Mufutau Owolabi Oseni, that he was not good to them even after taking money and contract from cappy he became a bad man, more later still loading.
