The philosophers stone is not the only path to enlightenment, it is simply one of many roads provided which opens ones eye to all the wonders within or without. This route, whether taken far abroad or deep within accomplish the exact same thing, to behold the fully awakened, all encompassing heart/soul of The supremely wonderful state of Being. We may look with great and equal effort long and hard in traversing this way or that upon this terrestrial sphere in either or all directions to make it all clear, yet every path taken will inevitably shed the same wonderful tear, dissolving every obscurity, illusion and fear. All directions this sphere may peer culminate right here at the singular image reflected in thy ocular mirror. The kingdom of Heaven began right here. This is the meaning of the riddle pointing to ones middle as I write with a smile and mischievous giggle spoken by the words "as above, so below" describing the Alpha and Omega, The Infinite soul.
