The photo on the left is my step-grandfather George Peck. On the right is my paternal grandfather Charles F Fisher (on the right). Both served as fighter pilots in the US Navy during WWII on board the USS Lexington. Grandpa Fisher was killed when the Japanese Kamikazed the ship. My dad, Grandpa Fishers only child was only 6 months old. Grandpa Peck married my dads mother upon return from the war. I never knew either of these two men but I honor both of my grandfathers for their service to our nation today.
