The picture I posted earlier is the first FB status Ive posted since April 1st. Hmmmm, I dont think thats ever happened, unless I was out of the country. LOL. Anyway, it has been a VERY long week. I had some surgery on my foot on Tuesday and had a bit of difficulty with that for a couple of days. That contributed to the long week somewhat. There were actually many many things that contributed to how long this week has felt, none of which I will go into detail about. However, all of these things have made me think about a lot of things this week. Theres not really ONE thing that happened this week that caused me to pause and really think about things but a combination of MANY things. While all of these life things that happened were challenging, it caused me to really stop, rest in Him, PRAY hard and rest some more. This week I have been reminded once again, I am not responsible for how other people behave, just how I behave. I am not responsible for how others live their life, just how I live mine. I am not responsible for anyone elses inability to control themselves, just my ability to control myself. I also remember, often times what some people say to others or post in social media says MUCH more about the person they are than it does about the person they are speaking about. With that, Lord willing, another week begins. What wonderful surprises will it bring? Gnight FB friends.
