The pink Winnebago we are giving away in efforts to help raise funds for the Fugate family is on display at Campbell Motors on 25E in Corbin (right beside the intersection of 25E and American Greeting Card Road). Stop by to take a look at it and to register to win! ********************************************************************************* (Most Recent Update:) *We are sad to give this update on our dear friend, Amy Fugate, whose husband, Terry, works here at Day Bros. RVs. After being told she was in remission from her cancer back in November, Amy learned this week that the cancer is back and has spread to other parts of her body. Thus begins another battle of fighting for her and her family. However, Amy remains encouraged and faithful, believing that there is a Plan for her life and we join her and her family in praying for complete healing. To date, $1500 has been raised for the Fugate family through this give-a-way and while we thank each and every person who has entered to win or who has simply given a donation, we would like to see the funds raised for this family continue to grow and be an even bigger blessing! So please, if you havent shared this on your wall yet, please do so we can get the word out to as many people as possible! (Pictured are Amy, her husband Terry, their three children, and Amys mom, who was also recently diagnosed with breast cancer as well.) *********************************************************************************** (Original Post:) You still have a chance to win this 2015 Winnebago Minnie as well as help support one of our Day Brothers family members, Amy Fugate whose husband, Terry, works for us. Amy was born and lives in Southeast Kentucky with her husband Terry Douglas (you may know him as TD) and their three children, Nola Grace (9), Carolyn Elizabeth (7), and Peyton Alexander (6). The week after Christmas in 2013 she was diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer, a very aggressive form of the disease. In January she underwent a right mastectomy which included the removal of 30 lymph nodes, 18 of which were also cancerous. After surgery, scans revealed cancer was still present in a lymph node buried deep in her chest. Treatment in 2014 has included 18 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation 5 days a week for 6 weeks beginning in September. Once radiation is complete, a reconstructive surgery will take place and Amy and her family believe 2015 will be a brand new year full of hope and God’s amazing grace!
