The police wanted to determine whether or not the child was being - TopicsExpress

The police wanted to determine whether or not the child was being kidnapped presumably. One of their duties being to prevent human trafficking. The man says he has no name - suspicious ? Infers that he has more right to be in America than they do. Accuses them, who are clearly Police Officers, of kidnapping his child. Now, what would his attitude be if indeed his child had been kidnapped? And this intervention saved the lad from a terrible fate - he would have been grateful! And if by chance his child had disappeared he would beg them to help recover him. And if they were unable to do so he would accuse them of indifference and ineptitude! So what do you suggest? They are damned if they do and damned if they dont. - you should be looking at the uniform and not the person wearing it - after all, there are many Black Police Officers in America. Had non white Police stopped the man would the mans reaction have been the same? - has it not occurred to you that these are White people trying to protect a Black child?
