The political leader of the opposition United Workers Party has challenged the government to a debate on the economy. Mr. Allen Chastanet, who is himself an Economist, issued the challenge while describing the Prime Minister’s comments to DBS Television last night on the economy as absurd and irresponsible. Prime Minister Doctor Kenny Anthony had told DBS’s Kendal Burton that the outlook for the local economy is positive. But UWP Leader Allen Chasstanet has dared Doctor Anthony to provide the proof.
