The political parties have been taking due interests in encouraging the settlements of poor people those who are coming to cities in search of jobs/work/livelihoods on govt lands lying vacant with an eye on building their illegal vote banks. It is shocking to find that very people living in slums have their voter ID cards,BPL/ration cards and are the beneficiaries of govts populist schemes whereas peoples have been staying for longer period do not have such facility because they are not the definite voters. Now there are notorious peoples living in slums from goondas,robbers,burglars,mafia duns,petty thief, decoits,chain snatchers,eve-teasers and many more with different criminal backgrounds. The peaceful atmosphere of city life has becoming unhealthy and unhygienic ,leave alone orderly life of a disciplined and responsible citizenry. The recent tragedy at Kedarnath where many people are the illegal immigrants of Nepal are adds to the death toll but our govt is silent on that part.The similar state of affairs can be seen at all India level where a large number of Bangladeshi refugees are illegally allowed to settle. This practice of illegal act soon invite the havoc to the nation and the political parties are appears indifferent to these issues.
