The primary reason for friction or failure in most relationships and marriages is found when you look in the mirror. It’s called self. Yes self. That proud, arrogant and selfish creature you see. When both persons, or even just one person are about themselves in any way in the relationship, it poisons it. Relationships are not for people who are full of themselves, but for those who are emptied of self. Love is shown by giving, caring, sacrificing, sharing, etc. To unconditionally love is to choose to do so without stipulations; expecting nothing in return as the motive, and requiring nothing to be changed about the person who will be the recipient. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends…” - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. Spread a little love today, family.
