The problem of the River state Assembly has raised a bone of contention between the public and the law enforcement agents without taking cognizance of the police roles and the degree of offence committed. Actually. because of our weak judicial system and injustice, nepotism and culture of impunity, people of high class in Nigeria commit all manner of crime and get away free with them without been trail or jail. But, it is unfortunate that when justice is said to be meted out, a rich man gets a slap on the face for committing embezzlement or fraud of billions naira without prosecution but a poor man is sentence to prison for committing minor offence like stealing a goat. Then, why so much on case of brutality, perhaps brutality is been committed everyday amongst less privilege citizen without police report or legal action.
