The problem with Kara, in copy-editing, is that alerts go off in my head near constantly as Im looking at the writing. Then I am faced with dilemmas: is lack of parallelism a good reason to correct? The Oxford comma? Split infinitives? Sentences structured around passive verbs? I think Im better as a writing tutor, because then at least I can help people learn about this stuff, instead of having to figure out which ones are important enough to edit
