The problem with getting big opportunities when youre still young is that you arrive at a point where you get tired. You get tired mainly because you never really get to enjoy most of them. The euphoria is short-lived. One day youre ecstatic that youve achieved something big and before the excitement can even sink in, youve already gotten something better. And so the cycle continues. You end up feeling uninterested in things that your own peers would do anything to have. When your peers are fantasising about going overseas, you are crossing your fingers praying that you DONT get selected to go. When your peers are excited about being in certain spaces, you wish with all your heart that you could just run out of there and go to your own apartment, sit alone and eat caramel popcorn. Some things always look glamarous and appealing when you dont have them. When you taste them for the first time, you become excited. But then you start having them constantly until you wake up one day and realise that theyre your staple diet, and that you dont want them anymore. And that you just want to break free, to be on the outside looking in. #ThugsGetLonelyToo
