The process of enacting lasting positive change has been set, and it is up to us to learn from MLK, Cesar Chavez, the NAACP, and a like to follow the appropriate steps to enact such change. We must fight through the court systems, push through local initiatives, and take to the streets day after day to attain the change in policy, law, or behaviors in our society that we seek. If you are picnicking, marching, rallying, or meeting and not doing the fore mentioned things, you are spinning your wheels (wasting your time). This is not said to discourage people from joining the cause of their choice, but rather preparing people for the journey ahead, because like it or not we are as ready as we are going to be. #ProtestKing
