The project 10 challenge is where we challenge people to lose 10lb of weight (or gain 10lb of lean muscle) and for every 10lb that is achieved, we donate 30 meals to a local food bank or childrens charity to support undernourished or overweight children. My challenge is a weight loss one (although this time combined with active fitness) and I have two smoothies a day (usually breakfast and lunch), a meal for my tea and a healthy snack. I love the variety of the challenge as I can make my smoothies into healthy fruit and veg versions or taste like bounties and snickers when I am in a chocolatey mood lol. I also use the supplement to bake and often make pancakes as an alternative for breakfast or cupcakes to munch on when we are in that mood. The challenge differs from others on the market not least because of the charity donations, but also because when someone achieves their 10lb they win either an I lost it T-Shirt or a I built it one. I LOVE my lost it T Shirt as it reminds me that I am doing well on my challenge and that I am working towards getting the figure I want - its a visual reminder of the journey I have taken and to remind me of my future path and goals. For me, one of the most satisfying things about the challenge is not just how my body is changing but also how I am feeling .... I have so much more energy now and I am now off medication that I had been on for three years. I also used to get very run down and be ill often, whereas I havent had any bugs that have upset me since commencing in Feb (I had been ill and laid up in bed over NY and at the end of Jan previous to this). I also have a friend on the challenge whose life has changed due to a massive reduction in the pain she experienced from her Fybromyalgia and another who has been able to stop taking her diabetic medication - with the GPs approval (so I know it benefits lots of people in lots of ways).
