The pronuke movie marches on. It wants to convince you, as does CNN and Pres. Obama and the nuclear/coal/oil industry, that nuclear energy is a better alternative than green energy for combating global warming..ahem...i think they meant to also say - and keep our big energy donors happy. Nukes require using the current centralized grid system that keeps energy production in the hands of a few very, very wealthy companies. Green energy is building a distributed grid that places ownership of energy with the consumer. For big energy companies, thats a big problem and that becomes a cash problem for American political parties who havent seen a backbone since transforming into invertebrates to make being slimy even easier. Im sorry that im insulting invertebrates. Anyhow, youre suppose to see this movie and get worried and demand a new nuclear power plant be built in your neighborhood to save humanity from itself and, incidentally, also a way of life, a very, very good and lucrative life for the elite amongst us. OR, you can follow the link in this article and join FAIR for a moment in asking CNN to present something really radical like what solar power can already really do to save the planet, just go ask the Germans and PM Merkel.
