The psychology in play is quite fascinating ... when those within a belief are faced with the reality that their belief has inspired and motivated what can at best be described as a gang of thugs embarking upon a campaign of violent murder, then they need to rapidly handle the cognitive dissonance ... so now we see a stream of weird claims all backed up by evidence supplied by an assortment of well-known conspiracy nuts to assert anything and everything ... except the actual truth itself.
