The purpose of everyones lives today seems to be a contest to achieve what one insubstantially defines as success. But nobody knows what their success really means. And I dont aim at trying to point out things like money or happiness: those are abstract ideas of success that prolong over a period of time. Theres no definite way one can experience the feeling of success because the money to happiness ratio for everyones success is different. At the end of the day, the only way you can figure out that you have succeeded is if you put a smile on someones face. Putting that smile may take effort, persuasion, ability and credibility. But its that smile thats worth achieving. Because if your success doesnt seem to make anyone else happy, your success is no more than a bubble in which you live. Lets not let our success be our comfort zone. Lets allow our success to be smile inducing. Lets try and make our own money to happiness ratio affect others positively. Not because thats the right thing to do, but because that is possibly the only purpose of our lives. Because that is success. Credits: random thoughts entering my head on a lazy monsoon day.
