The purpose of our events is to highlight a selection of our Official Live Music Venue Sponsors (we currently have 8) and thank them for supporting our not-for-profit organization - Cambridge Live Music. They also provide local artists with an opportunity to highlight their music in a venue and in front of an audience that may not be familiar with it. These events are for the benefit of the live music fan, the artist and the venue, as all 3 play key roles in our vibrant live music community. The intent of these events are for everyone, including the performers, to spend the entire afternoon enjoying each others performances and the hospitality of the host venue. They are not a live music showcase. These events are not a traditional Open Mics where artists arrive and sign up with a host and perform. Were currently reviewing our advance sign up policy and will publish the conditions for our next event ASAP. We make every effort to provide an inclusive and supportive atmosphere and accommodate as many performers as we can, regardless of; genre, experience and ability. Cambridge Live Music is a not-for-profit organization operated by dedicated volunteers and funded entirely by donations, fundraising and sponsorship. We welcome your support! Cambridge Live Music is not a booking agency or promotor of any single venue or act. We promote everyone elses live music events (regardless of sponsorship) for FREE, as long as they are publicly accessible and submitted to our website - cambridgelivemusic
