The purpose of the Word of God, the Bible, is to provide the believer with the revelation of the most glorious and powerful God the human soul can contain in order that we might be firmly convinced that He is perfectly able to preserve us unto eternity. Human reason, experience, and emotion added to the Word of God, present us with the imagination of a god who ultimately can do nothing for us because what we add to Scripture from our own autonomy contains every gate we can put up to keep God out of our sense of personal privileges. -Pastor Tim Price
