The question came up today who are you? What do you stand for? I thought long and hard and came up with the following. I would love to read yours if you want to share: My name is Antonio Markeith Route. My friends call me Tony. First and foremost I believe in God. Not because I have seen him, or heard him but because I have been touched by him. He is involved in my life daily and unless you have also been touched this wont make sense. Although I am a Christian I am respectful of all beliefs. Why? I accept the possibility that my beliefs could be wrong. However, Christianity is the hill I choose to die on because I find the evidence and the infallibility of the Bible overwhelming. I care about all people. If I say I love you I always will regardless of the circumstances. I believe if you love someone you always will or you never truly did. I make mistakes daily. When I do I own it. I dont try to justify it or excuse it. My choice, my consequences. I am a work in progress and everyday is a new day to right prior wrongs. I love the United States and I am blessed to be an American, but you should also be proud of your country regardless of where you are from. I wear my heart on my sleeve, my weapon on my side, and Gods word in my heart. From now until the day I die I will strive to make a difference in this world if it be no more than making one person sincerely smile each day. I love my life and I thank God for it.
