The question that is posted here to which we are supposed to respond is - Whats on your mind? My answer tonight is gratitude. I am grateful to all those who wished me a happy birthday - a birthday that came round way too soon ( I would just as soon stop counting the years), but I am still grateful for the chance to celebrate yet another one. As I read the birthday wishes, I stopped and thought about each of you. I had such a wonderful time thinking back over the years and how I met each and every one of you. I had many a chuckle thinking about some of the crazy things we did and many a tear wishing I would have done some things differently. Some of us go back to grade school, summer camps, high school, college (both in the States and France), the Pan Am years, the raising children years, the teaching years, and even now to my wonderful new friends (teachers and students) here in Morocco. Your Happy Birthday gave me cause to reminisce, and I thank you for that.
