The question when is the first South Sudan federal election has been publicly announced on SSTV. According to Hon. Makuei Lueth, the federal election will be in 2015 , and because of the time, the government has funded- $ 1.5 billion for the process in the new year . This fund will cover the salaries for the council of executives , the process and the voting materials . The govt is done with what will happen in the year and it is up to the opposition leader/s those of Dr Lam and Dr Riek in the bush to get ready for a political battle in 2015, otherwise it might be too late for them . I therefore call on all the South Sudanese including the rebels who are willing to return to town to stand for the govt and vote for Kiir for the second presidential term . I think it will not be a constitutional disaster for the South Sudanese to re-elect Kiir for presidency due to the fact the president has been managing the public affairs since the crisis occurred . The president deserves the second presidential term because of the following reasons: 1 he signed a peace agreement with David Yau Yau 2 he is making good policies 3 he is working on major projects for the Juba International Airport and the roads linking the South Sudan inter-states and the neighbouring countries 4 he opens the door for rebels including Riek Teny who are willing to return to town 5 he has appointed qualified people in his govt. Makuei Lueth is a lawyer by profession who has been serving professionally in his govt 2 Malong Awan has experiences in military 3 Ambassador Gordon Buay is a qualified official , 4 the governors and all the executives 5 Kiir will reform economics and create employment for young graduates when the war is over 6 security is good 7 prices has been be reduced
