The quickest way to purge items from a home is to avoid asking yourself if you will use the item in the future but to ask yourself if you have needed to use it in the past. Have you used it in the past few years? Did you know you had it? If you can say no to both questions, then you probably dont need it. If you have documents, scan them. Donate items to the thrift store and try and give every item in your house a home. If you cant find a suitable home for it, then reconsider if you really need that item. When you are done, vacuum and rearrange the room. Getting rid of the clutter in your home will make you feel so much better.
