The rain fell so hard last night, I began imagining a Noah type flood situation. What if it was up to me to build an Ark and ensure the survival of the planet ?. I would go about gathering two of all the creatures to be found in Bushwick. 2 Rats. (fearless) 2 Cats (feral). 2 Pitbulls. 2 Pigeons (or hood Doves) 2 Chickens. 1 Rooster. (the other 1 was too fast). 2 Raccoons. Yes. Raccoons. 2 (hundred thousand) Cockroaches. 2 Dealers of weed. 2 Crips. 2 Bloods. 2 Rappers on the verge of a record deal. 2 Mumbly drunkards. 2 Latino deli owners. 2 Of those dudes that hang outside the deli all day. 2 Overweight lovers of fried food. 2 Resilient Goths. 1 Crackhead. (the other 1 was too fast). 2 Hipsters. 2 Fiery storefront preachers. 2 Surly checkout girls from Keyfood. 2 Hookers with hearts of gold. 2 Chinese women that sell bootleg dvds. 2 Starving artists. 2 Property speculators. 2 Weave specialists. 2 Disgruntled Metro Transit employees. 2 Wandering mental patients, clearly off their meds. This is not the Love Boat exactly but I doubt thered be a boring moment. (If Im missing anyone, let me know. Im about to close the guest-list.) ALL ABOARD !!.
