The reality of relativity strikes again Everyone knows that you shouldnt go grocery shopping when you are hungry. It’s not wrong or illegal and every now and then it can be fun or necessary. It just makes it much harder to get what you need for the immediate future when you are being distracted by one of the strongest, most essential drives of the flesh to get what you want right now. Similarly, you dont think of who you would like to see as the next president of the United States while Barrack Obama is in office. After hearing Dr. Ben Carson might run, a chain of other possible candidates began to form in my mind. After eight or nine, I noticed everyone I imagined seemed like a great choice. When I realized what was happening, I thought of a few villains, cartoon characters, or folks I knew just to test myself. Anyone I put on the stage of mind as a replacement for Obama got an immediate standing ovation. OK. One last test. Godzilla. Just to be sure. Buckwheat. Damn. My picker needed recalibration. Obviously, I had to put off the process if I was to have any perspective I could interpret. (Bill Cosby?) I give. It is also a little like being on Jail. Where would you rather be? Anywhere else.
