The really humorous thing about military males (not all, but most).... I can do any amount of hard work, stay long hours, go above and beyond my duty description. But the quickest and most efficient way to gain their respect.... Is to play football with them. After they find out that I am pretty good and can reliably catch the ball, I get more high fives, compliments, and affirmations than years worth of hard work. :P
