The recent revelations by some online media that their is a cartel - TopicsExpress

The recent revelations by some online media that their is a cartel that wont stop at nothing to be in power leaves much to be desired and poses a threat to our national security! Only yesterday, we saw a considerable number of people take to the streets in protests against the acting presidents stay in office. If unattended to, such misdirected protests could bring about anarchy in our country! Let us learn a lesson from the uprising in Egypt, even though the people managed to make government step down through massive protests which even got the attention of the UN, the real leadership crisis has not be effectively solved even upto now! What lessons can we learn from Egypt? Well, I guess it takes more than just chanting songs and taking to the streets! It takes more than just blowing trumpets or exchanging fire with state security wings! What then is the solution? Firstly, my request would go to the young people, let us remain calm and refuse to be used as instruments of chaos by some unscrupulous political leaders who cant see the future of our beautiful country! Let us show them that we can see beyond our stomachs and our pockets! Secondly, the greatest weapon that we all have that is more powerful than all political leaders combined is out vote! Our strength, our voice, our opinion and our pride is in our vote! Our voice speaks louder than any vuvuzela blown on the street! It has the capacity to bring the person we want into the number one office of our land!! Yes! With it, we can defeat the greatest cartel that has ever lived on the face of the earth! It is true that we have lost a great leader as a nation, but the greatest challenge we have now is who has the abilty to take over the office? The answer to this shall be seen in a few months time when people use their power, their vote!! God bless mother Zambia!!! #MYVOTEMYVOICE
