The recent theft of a beloved Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer statue devastated the Rolling Hills Estates neighborhood where it had been a holiday fixture for decades. But thanks to a tip from a KTLA viewer, the iconic 200-pound statue will be back at its home in time for Christmas more than a week after it was stolen. Sheriff’s deputies found it on the roof of Gardena mobile home Monday. Firefighters then rescued the statue, much to the delight of the children who had gathered below to watch.
