The relief of the phone call I received a few minutes ago from the vet has me in tears. Prayers have been answered. Maybe this is the end to Murphys Law for this family. Coopers cancer is a benign cancer called Myelolipoma and apparently is NOT common and somewhat rare. The cure is a splenectomy as long as you catch that in time before it ruptures....which we did. I breathe with some peace right now. Thank you to his wonderful doctors at Altamonte Veterinary Clinic which did such an amazing job with him. Cooper and I cannot thank the team enough. If it werent for the quick thinking and actions, well.......we wont go there. Cooper is still here and thats what matters. Hes getting extra cookies when I get home. XOXOXO.
