The reluctant morning sun with its docile rays was teasing the mist to uncover its see-through veil, that made it glow. The nip in the cool and fresh air was giving a menthol effect to the lungs and blood vessels, when inhaled, and the slight increase in its density due to the season, was throwing its weight around with each forward step. The usually chirpy and busy birds were still lazy in their cozy nests or just silently breathing in the welcome change of season. A crow was looking as though it had goosebumps, with all its feathers standing up and dishevelled. The elderly were adjusting their mufflers and monkey caps to cover the ears from the infectious cold air. The slow increase in the speed of the walk, was warming up the body just rightly to give a very fine spread of sweat on the face which when washed with the splash of the icy cold water from the tap was stinging as though pricked by needles and soaked up by the freshly laundered scented towel, to induce an altogether new level of freshness that clears the vision a notch higher and gets further invigorated by the flavour of the steaming mug of hot coffee, that makes waking up early and walking out in winter mornings such a refreshing thing to do.
