The remaining NHS 111 services will be transferred to ambulance trusts over the coming weeks, following the announcement of the withdrawal of NHS Direct earlier this year. We still believe the dismantling of NHS Direct was not the best outcome for patients – and we’re now left with a fragmented, localised service that offers uncertainty and inconsistency across many parts of the country. How do you think this will affect patients?
