The reported dangers of chemical artificial sweeteners like Aspartame, sold under the brand names NutraSweet and Equal, have been available to the public for years. The producers of this product net billions of dollars from its sale and can afford to spend millions to combat the reports of its health risks. Of course, its your choice whether to believe the reports, some of which offer research data, or the producers of Aspartame and Snopes, which echoes their claims that the product is safe. But now you cant say you werent warned about Splenda too. Its really a very simple choice--food and drink from the earth, or from the laboratory?
