The results are in: (No photos as I forgot to take them before they were consumed!) Very mixed response with one consensus - both types of baking tasted lovely and without the choice of two you wouldnt fault either product. Some liked the free range baking straight out, others the regular products. Some preferred buttercream from one with the cake from the other. Personally, the Lurpak buttercream was much nicer but the cakes equally as nice. Given the significant cost difference in the two end products I think I will use standard products as the first choice unless specifically requested. Buttercream might be the one exception! 🍰
