The road from Darajani to Highrise will be built with work on the project beginning this week. The development of tarmac roads in Kibra will improve security (ambulances, firetrucks), cheaper transport of people and goods, open up the community for more business, create jobs for residents during and after the construction. I urge residents to give full cooperation to the contractors and government officials who will be steering this project, especially when it comes to relocation from the road reserves. The impact of the new tarmac road from DC and the law courts to Darajani has been very positive. We want to make sure all trunk roads in Laini Saba, Mashimoni, Lindi, and Sarangombe are of the same quality or better in the next three years.
