Starting immediately, the restaurant will operate on a limited schedule and host guests Thursday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. “Jeremy Restaurant exceeded my expectations on all accounts. It became a destination,” said Grandon. “From wedding showers and anniversaries to birthdays and graduations, my team and I are honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of so many of our guests’ special life milestones. I personally want to invite our guests back in these final weeks to share their memories with us. After all, Jeremy Restaurant would not have been possiblewithout each and everyone of them.” Advanced reservations are strongly encouraged during the restaurant’s final weeks and can be made by calling the restaurant directly at (248) 681-2124. Chef Grandon is working on a new concept that he expects to open in the space formerly occupied by Jeremy Restaurant & Bar. Further details are expected to be released in the next few months, but Grandon indicates it will be on the very casual side – reflecting recent changes in dining habits. Construction on the new concept is anticipated to begin during summer with the new restaurant opening in fall 2014. “We’re in the final stages of creating a casual culinary experience that will fill a huge void in area dining options.” said Grandon. “It will very much resonate with former Jeremy patrons, and I can envision it quickly becoming a favorite neighborhood gathering spot.” Since opening in summer 2003, Jeremy Restaurant & Bar has been heralded as one of the area’s finest dining establishments by respected restaurant writers. It was the only Michigan restaurant featured in the coveted September 2004, Top Restaurant issue of Bon Appetit. Chef Jeremy Grandon and his wife, Paula, were featured in the March Bon Appetit issue as a culinary couple to watch. Additionally, after having been open less than six months, the Detroit Free Press recognized Jeremy Restaurant & Bar as its 2004 Restaurant of the Year. Chef Jeremy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from theUniversity of Michigan and a degree from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York — the world’s premier culinary college — before investing five years as a station chef at the former Tribute in Farmington Hills. He has also been named by Restaurant Hospitality among its “Rising Stars” and a Crain’s Detroit Business “40 Under 40.” Jeremy Restaurant & Bar is located at 1978 Cass Lake Road in Keego Harbor.
