The scientific method of analysis as explained by Herr Von - TopicsExpress

The scientific method of analysis as explained by Herr Von Bradford, the Admin of The Physics Page on FB. An example of deductive logic would be: All squares are rectangles. All rectangles have four sides. Logic, therefore, tells you that all squares have four sides. And Example of inductive logic would be: An umbrella prevents you from getting wet in the rain. Ashley took her umbrella and she did not get wet. In this case, you could use inductive reasoning to offer an opinion that it was probably raining. Your concluson, however, would not necessarily be accurate because Ashley would have remained dry whether it rained and she had an umbrella, or whether it did not rain at all. An example of doing things based on no proof would be: I like Tooth Fairy....I have no proof it exist but I think it created cars. In the last example: The scientific method and the evolutionary algorithm can be combined and is based off of asking questions, doing research, constructing a hypothesis, quantifying a physical observation or doing a PHYSICAL experiment to test the hypothesis, analyzing the results and drawing conclusions. If the hypothesis is true and is consistent with the physical observations or experiment that has been performed then it will be selected, reproduced and recombined with other true hypothesis. If the hypothesis is false and is not consistent with the physical experiment or observation that was performed then it must be terminated. If the hypothesis was inconclusive or indeterminate then you analyze any mutagenic random phenomenon and hidden variables and test the hypothesis it with another physical experiment.
