The second annual Gold Hill Elementary School reunion was held on Friday, August 1 at Charley’s Waterfront Café in Farmville. An estimated 40 teachers and staff of the former school attended the event, where memories of former Gold Hill Stars were shared, along with a meal and fellowship. Barbara Dunn, one of the members of the event committee, read “A Teacher’s Prayer” before recognizing some of the teachers and staff members who had passed on.
