The second annual SASCO Cup Sports and Academics competition in Kiroka! What a fantastic day!! The athletes and scholars performed excellently, there was great food for all the participants, music and an MC, speeches, awards for the winners! Kiroka B took home the SASCO Cup for the second year in a row! All the students enjoyed the day so much. There were SO many people in attendance and the event was covered in the local news (tv) and radio. Teachers in Kiroka Ward report that since supporting sports in the district and this competition that attendance has increased, relationships between schools in the Kiroka Ward have improved, people feel increased pride in their village/school. Thank you so much to the Rotary Club of Toronto Skyline and to Angela Richard and Damien Wilmot, organizers of Toss For Tanzania Handball Tournament, for supporting this initiative.
