The self-titled LP Bad Company went to No. 1 on the charts 40 - TopicsExpress

The self-titled LP Bad Company went to No. 1 on the charts 40 years ago today (9/28/1974). It will eventiually go Platinum five times over. Grab some former members from Free, King Crinsom and Mott the Hopple, mix gently and youve created Bad Company. Put yourself in the hands of the same guy who is managing Led Zepplin (perhaps youve heard of them?) and how can you go wrong. Its said the band name came from front man Paul Rodger obscessed by the Jeff Bridges movie of the same name but he claims the name comes from a picture caption of a Victorian-era book on morals. youtube/watch?v=mO3I_YfcY48
